"If ever a civil rights movement was needed in America, it is for the Republican Party. If ever we needed to start marching for freedom and constitutional rights, it's for the Republican Party. The Republican Party is today's oppressed minority, and it know how to behave as one." The GOP, Rush continued, know to go to the "back of the bus" and drink from the right water fountain. Rush then assured us that he is an "intellectual," whereas Obama is a "narcissist." And just in case you're not sure what that means, Rush elaborated: "He's like Narcissus." Washington, D.C., Rush concluded, is the "Old South" for Republicans, and they are comfortable being an "oppressed minority."

I know you folks are outstanding on calling out these sorry "Blue Dog 'Democrats'" (should read: YELLOW Dog Democrats since they're such COWARDS!!!), and I don't know about you, but Tim Mahoney, my very own representative, is BEYOND USELESS. He's a useless as a football-bat! He's done NOTHING for this district, which, he only won by 1.8%! (WHEN are the Rahm Emanuels, Nancy Pelosis, etc., going to GET IT, that PROGRESSIVE Democrats win BY BIG margins, and the CON Dems win by crap?!?!?! IF AT ALL!) Here in Okeechobee Country, the roads are still potholed and rickety, the economy SUCKS, the schools are beyond underfunded, their is virtually NO fire dept. protection (volunteer only) OR ambulance/paramedics in my area of this country, and I could go on and on, but you get the idea! It's NOT good enough to NOT be Mark Foley! FLORIDA DISTRICT 16 *NEEDS* A REAL PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRAT!!!!!!!!!

According to an interview in the Wall Street Journal, Karl Rove will resign at the end of August.
Karl Rove, President Bush's longtime political adviser, is resigning as White House deputy chief of staff effective Aug. 31, and returning to Texas, likely marking a turning point for the Bush presidency.
Mr. Rove's departure removes one of the White House's most polarizing figures, and perhaps signals the effective end of the lame duck administration's role in shaping major domestic policy decisions. Mr. Rove revealed his plans in an interview with Paul Gigot, editor of The Wall Street Journal's editorial page.
And, of course, Karl Rove couldn't help being, well, Karl Rove until the very end:
He said he decided to leave after White House Chief of Staff Joshua Bolten told senior aides that if they stayed past Labor Day they would be obliged to remain through the end of the president's term in January 2009.
"I just think it's time," Mr. Rove said in the interview. "There's always something that can keep you here, and as much as I'd like to be here, I've got to do this for the sake of my family." Mr. Rove and his wife have a home in Ingram, Texas, and a son who attends college in nearby San Antonio.
In the interview, Mr. Rove said he expects Democrats to give the 2008 presidential nomination to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, whom he described as "a tough, tenacious, fatally flawed candidate." He also said Republicans have "a very good chance" to hold onto the White House in next year's elections.
Mr. Rove also said he expects the president's approval rating to rise again, and that conditions in Iraq will improve as the U.S. military surge continues. He said he expects Democrats to be divided this fall in the battle over warrantless wiretapping, while the budget battle -- and a series of presidential vetoes -- should help Republicans gain an edge on spending restraint and taxes.

Citing executive privilege, he defied a subpoena and refused to show up for a congressional hearing just two weeks ago on the allegedly improper use by White House aides of Republican National Committee email accounts. Fellow Bush advisers have said they believe the congressional probes have been aimed in part at driving Rove out.
The White House said his departure was unrelated to the investigations.

Not only are there a lot of women bloggers, most of them (male or female) listed here, have more readers than Fox Nazi "News" have viewers! Kleenex, anyone? Yet their dickhead air-"talent" (don't make me laugh!) especially Sexual-harasser Bill O'LIEly drone on and on and on about how they are the shit and they are the most watched...meanwhile Keith Olbermann clowns out Mr. Luffo-sponger 2 to 1!
So thanks to Bluedaze for pointing this out, and again, not to take away from how women bloggers get no respect (gee guys, what's wrong? got vagina envy?!) but this also shows how the rightwing media are LYIN' COCKSUCKERS!!!!!!! WE are the fuckin' majority, DEAL WITH IT!
