Palm Beach County lost 379 people, or .03 percent. New statistics analyzed by the South Florida Sun Sentinel suggest the numbers may be higher. Consider:

TALLAHASSEE — Florida Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink suggested Friday that the state's Republican leaders are in denial about the dire economy and they should call a special legislative session now to deal with the impact on the state budget.
Sink, speaking to the Council of 100 in Palm Beach, said a possible $1-billion gap in state funding demands attention now, not later.
"I do not see any way we can afford to wait until March to deal with a potential $1-billion-plus shortfall in this budget year," Sink, the state's only elected Democratic executive, said in an interview later. "That's just an impossible situation."

QUESTION:
EVERY step of Bushco's 8 year 'term' was guided by an agenda...that is to make fortunes for American Big Business especially the oil companies banks, defense contractors and 'reimburse' the Insurance Co's who paid off for 911.
Second was to allow Bushco to illegally gather info on Americans to use against us.
Third was to tighten the grip by our Security Agencies on us.
Forth was to empty the Treasury and hand it over to American Big Business and especially Detroit who worked hand in hand with the Oil Companies.
Fifth was to remove all restrictions on the Energy Dealers, begin the circle of unending wars to benefit the Defense Contractors and Suppliers and especially Halliburton.
Sixth was to expand the powers of the VP and President a long ways toward a Fascist Dictatorship.
And you know they SUCCEEDED...possibly with the help of Rove blackmailing members of Congress with the info gathered through the illegal spying.
BUT HERE IS THE UNANSWERED PART....how did they plan their get away?
Surely Bush is going to pardon everyone who helped him carry out his orders (from these Corporate Giants) but HOW IS BUSH GOING TO GET AWAY???
After his term is over, he is vulnerable to ANY ACTION, STATE OR CIVIL. Impeachment and the protection of the likes of Pelosi and Reed are then moot.

EASTON, Pa. (AP) - The father of 3-year-old Adolf Hitler Campbell, denied a birthday cake with the child's full name on it by one New Jersey supermarket, is asking for a little tolerance. Heath Campbell and his wife, Deborah, are upset not only with the decision made by the Greenwich ShopRite, but with an outpouring of angry Internet postings in response to a local newspaper article over the weekend on their flare-up over frosting.
"I think people need to take their heads out of the cloud they've been in and start focusing on the future and not on the past," Heath Campbell said Tuesday in an interview conducted in Easton, on the other side of the Delaware River from where the family lives in Hunterdon County, N.J.
"There's a new president and he says it's time for a change; well, then it's time for a change," the 35-year-old continued. "They need to accept a name. A name's a name. The kid isn't going to grow up and do what (Hitler) did."
Deborah Campbell, 25, said she phoned in her order last week to the ShopRite. When she told the bakery department she wanted her son's name spelled out, she was told to talk to a supervisor, who denied the request.
Karen Meleta, a spokeswoman for ShopRite, said the Campbells had similar requests denied at the same store the last two years and said Heath Campbell previously had asked for a swastika to be included in the decoration.
"We reserve the right not to print anything on the cake that we deem to be inappropriate," Meleta said. "We considered this inappropriate."
The Campbells ultimately got their cake decorated at a Wal-Mart in Pennsylvania, Deborah Campbell said. About 12 people attended the birthday party on Sunday, including several children who were of mixed race, according to Heath Campbell.
"If we're so racist, then why would I have them come into my home?" he asked.
The Campbells' other two children also have unusual names: JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell turns 2 in a few months and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell will be 1 in April.
Heath Campbell said he named his son after Adolf Hitler because he liked the name and because "no one else in the world would have that name." He sounded surprised by all the controversy the dispute had generated.
Campbell said his ancestors are German and that he has lived his entire life in Hunterdon County. On Tuesday he wore a pair of black boots he said were worn by a German soldier during World War II.
He said he was raised not to avoid people of other races but not to mix with them socially or romantically. But he said he would try to raise his children differently.
"Say he grows up and hangs out with black people. That's fine, I don't really care," he said. "That's his choice."

A custody battle between a Satanist and his Christian ex-wife has raised constitutional issues after both demanded the right to share their religion with their three young children.

Kristie Meyer has cited the religious beliefs of her former husband, Jamie, as the main reason why an Indiana judge should restrict his visitation rights.
She wants the three to go to church on Sunday mornings - technically, when they are with Mr Meyer - but points out they are unlikely to do so if they are with their father, a member of an organisation calling itself the Church of Satan.
However, legal experts have warned that the American Constitution prevents judges from showing a religious preference.
In a forthcoming court case in Fulton, Indiana, Mr Meyer may now be asked to prove that Satanism, which he says is about celebrating man's desires rather than worshipping the devil, is a real faith.
Meanwhile, legal observers say his former wife may have to show that Satanism - which is recognised as a religion by the US Internal Revenue Service - is harmful to their daughters' upbringing.
Mrs Meyer has argued that her ex-husband's public expression of satanic beliefs has embarrassed their children.
Pat Roberts, her lawyer, has asked the judge to order Mr Meyer to drop off the children at his ex-wife's church so they can attend with her during his visitation time.
"Frankly, (it) can be emotionally damaging or confusing to children when they're faced with these two different forms of worship," Mr Roberts told the Chicago Tribune.
"Let's call it worship rather than religion. Religion is based upon recognition of a supreme being."
He added: "Allowing them to go to church for a couple of hours on a Sunday morning is... not unreasonable."

Little Johnny
Little Johnny snuck into the closet in his parents room via a deal that connects his to theirs (just go with it ok?!) and sees his mommy cheating on daddy w/ another guy. And as you could guess, daddy comes home early. So mommy shoves the man she's cheating with into the closet and straightens everything out to look like nothing was going on. After like 20 seconds the guy notices Johnny and said quietly "Damn kid! What are you doing in here?!" "I snuck in through this hatch here that connects to my closet, aw man I can't get it open, it's jammed, and I'm terrified of the dark!" "Aw com'on kid, just ride it out, it wont' be long!" 5 minutes later..."Mister...I'm scared of the dark!" "Aw com'on kid..." "I gotta get out of here!" "You can't! Your dad's right there...aw shit here, here's all the money I got in my wallet, it's only like 40 bucks." "Ok, thanks! I hope this won't take much longer." "Yeah, me either..." 5 minutes later, daddy's still there. "Mister, I'm scared of the dark!" "Oh come the hell on kid, it can't take much longer, NO, don't try to get out! Ok here here, take this pen, it's gold plated, cost me 100 bucks! Ok?! Just chill!" "Ok mister, thanks!" 5 more minutes later..."Mister...I'm scared of the dark!"
