As we write, we hope all of you and your loved ones are well, and safe. If you suffered as a result of T.S. Fay please send us a note, we will try to get you help with what we can.
You have received several messages from PDA National and we want to limit our mailings so as not to flood your mailboxes. Therefore today we have tried to include a number of items in one piece.

PDA Member and Radio personality Nicole Sandler was fired from her job because the station, WINZ, wanted to replace her with the notorious Imus.
Our PDA friends in the area, together with South Florida Peace and Justice, and other local progressive activists would like to have a demonstration in support of Nicole at Clear Channel in Miramar, Thursday morning, if they can get enough of Nicole's fans to come out before work. Please let PDA member Diane Lawrence know if you would be able to demonstrate for any amount of time between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00 a.m. in Miramar (Just NORTH of Miami, so com'on Miami, help out!). The station is right next to the Florida Turnpike. Please RSVP to, dianelee33176@yahoo.com no later than Tuesday. She will know if there are enough people to hold a good size demonstration. We will be protesting the firing of Nicole, a very talented and knowledgeable talk show host, and the loss of the only local progressive talk show covering local issues in South Florida. There are more than 500 PDA members in Broward County and we can certainly show up to protest an injustice.
