McCLELLAN MISLED:
Scott McClellan writes that he was asked to misinform the press regarding who outed Valerie Plame. McClellan passed along information that was NOT TRUE to cover for Bush and Cheney, Card, Libby and Rove.

Here is the excerpt from Scott McClellan’s book. It will be released on April 21st 2008.

White House spokesperson Dana Perino, at an off-camera briefing, said that she discussed McClellan's book with Bush and Perino said the President, "has not and would not knowingly pass false information". (The key word is "knowingly")

(NOT) SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS:
Unbelievable: Wounded soldiers are being asked to give some of signing bonuses back if they cannot serve out their time due to their injuries.

WAR ON TERROR:
Troop levels in Iraq will fall by about 5,000 by the end of next month. There will still be some 157,000 US troops in Iraq.

Though US forces have made progress against the Taliban, many goals that the Bush administration set for 2007 have not been met.
