Learn how to do the following IMMEDIATELY IF NOT SOONER:
1) FIRE THE HIGHEST CALIBER GUN YOU CAN. Oh yeah, and keep it clean, keep lots of ammo, and anything else that goes with responsible gun ownership.
2) Grow your own food.
3) Can food and/or dry it.
4) Hunt for food. Might also be a damn good idea to learn how to clean the dead animal and cook it properly.
5) Take any cash or money in savings and buy gold, silver, or something else THAT IS ACTUALLY WORTH SOMETHING, UNlike the American Dollar.
6) Basic hand to hand combat.
7) How to use other weapons than firearms ie. knives, bow & arrow, spear, sword, nub-chucks, brass knuckles, axes, etc.
8) How to purify water, collect rain water, etc.
9) Start a fire from scratch.
10) Build a basic shelter.
11) How to properly camouflage yourself in your environment.
12) Basic First Aid.
